Every time the Pied Asian Girls mailbag arrives, the model who gets the most cards and letters is Junko. So I thought, "Hey, let's make a bundle of all her scenes for the fans out there." Below is a scene-by-scene chronological history of our working relationship with her:

1. "Guess the Goo!"--Our friends Mai and Maria had already shot video with me, and they told Junko and Kana how much fun it was. Junko and Kana said, "Let's do it!" and the resulting first Junko scene was this gem starring Junko, Kana, and Maria, with our friend Ichigo helping off camera (although you see her hands and feet here and there).

2. "Relaxing by the River"--Soon after that first shoot, I was in one of the stores where I bought used threads for the models and I came across this awesome pair of leather pants and a fabulous purple blouse that I immediately envisioned Junko in! Even though I didn't have a sketch idea yet, I texted her from the store with photos of the clothes and asked if she'd do another shoot. The result was this classic starring Junko and Mai, with buddy Luke helping off camera and doing the voice of the ice cream salesman. Oh, and Luke smacked that first pie in Junko's face, which had us all laughing our asses off.

3. "The Restaurant"--The second scene Junko shot with us was immensely popular and I started getting a lot of messages about her. One of those messages was a request to shoot a custom starring Junko and Mai wearing a Japanese "ol" outfit and a maid uniform. They'd loved working together before and both said "yes" immediately. Thanks to Junko, this scene contains one of the best "Holy shit, that pie's going in my face!" looks I've ever seen on any girl's face.

4. "Slopped in Translation"--I'd met Jordy and her friend Jessy when they answered our online ad looking for models, and we had a blast shooting a couple of scenes. One day I mentioned to Junko that I'd had fun shooting with these two awesome girls from Australia, and Junko said she'd love to shoot with them and do a scene using English. What am I gonna say? "No"?! I immediately got Jordy on board (Jessy was already back in Australia), and the cherry on top was that Kana wanted in, too.

5. "Messy Olympics 2008" and 6. "The Slapstick Lesson"--I met Aika and Rika separately online, both interested in taking a few pies. (You know that story I sometimes tell about the one girl who not only didn't realize the modelling gig was for money, but actually thought that she would have to pay me for the experience? That was Rika, bless her kinky heart.) I'd has an idea for a sketch where two high school girls get a messy lesson in slapstick comedy from a dominatrix-ish teacher. Both Aika and Rika were up for it, so I pitched the teacher role to Junko. She was amused by the outfit and boots, and came on board for two scenes. The second scene shot was the slapstick lesson sketch, and the first was Junko indoctrinating the two pie virgins with a series of messy games.
